Ingredients
  

For the Skillet

  • 1 head Cabbage green or napa
  • 1 pound Sausage chicken or turkey for lighter version
  • 1 Onion yellow or red
  • 1 medium Carrot thinly sliced

For the Seasoning

  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper freshly cracked

For Serving

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley for garnish
  • Bread or Rice for serving

Cooking Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add your sliced sausage. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until it's browned, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
  • Add the shredded cabbage and thinly sliced carrots to the skillet. Stir everything together and cook for about 8-10 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
  • Sprinkle in salt and pepper, tasting as you go. Mix well and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh parsley over the top. Serve with warm bread or rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes before serving.
