Ingredients
  

  • - 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • - 1 cup granulated sugar
  • - 1 cup brown sugar
  • - 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • - 2 eggs
  • - 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • - ⅔ cup cocoa powder
  • - 1 tsp baking soda
  • - ½ tsp salt
  • - Optional: 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped peanuts

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter, sugars, and peanut butter until fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually mix dry into wet. Fold in chocolate chips or peanuts if using.
  • Scoop dough into balls, flatten slightly, place on lined baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes.
  • Let rest 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

- Chill dough 30 minutes for thicker cookies
- Not ideal for natural peanut butter
- Add 1 cup chocolate chips for extra richness
