Ingredients
  

  • **Dough:**
  • - ½ cup warm milk 100–110°F
  • - ¼ cup butter melted
  • - 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • - ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • - 1 egg
  • - ½ tsp salt
  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 2½ – 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • **Filling:**
  • - ⅓ cup softened butter
  • - ½ cup brown sugar
  • - ¼ cup sugar
  • - 1½ tbsp cinnamon
  • - 1 tsp vanilla
  • **Frosting:**
  • - 4 oz cream cheese
  • - 1 cup powdered sugar
  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 1–2 tbsp milk

Instructions
 

  • Mix milk, butter, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 10 min.
  • Add egg, salt, vanilla, and flour to form dough.
  • Knead briefly, rest 10 min in warm oven.
  • Mix filling and roll out dough into rectangle.
  • Spread filling, roll into log, slice into 12.
  • Bake in greased 9x13 pan at 350°F for 20–25 min.
  • Make frosting and spread on warm rolls.

Notes

- Adjust milk for thinner or thicker icing
- Add nuts or raisins for variation
- Freeze unbaked rolls for later
