Equipment

Ingredients

Marinade Ingredients

  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced
  • 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce Or tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Preferably raw; can substitute with maple syrup

Salmon Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Salmon Fillets 5-8 oz each, skin-on preferred

Garnish Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Chopped; can be omitted or replaced
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds Can substitute with crushed nuts

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, and minced garlic until it achieves a glossy consistency. Set aside half for a finishing touch later.
  • Gently pat the salmon fillets dry to promote better glaze adherence. Brush half of the marinade onto the fillets and let them marinate for 20-30 minutes at room temperature.
  • Set your air fryer to 400°F and allow it to preheat for about 3-5 minutes while the salmon is marinating.
  • Place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overlap them. Air fry for 7-8 minutes until the fish cooks through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Carefully transfer the salmon to plates, drizzle with the reserved marinade, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish. Serve immediately for the best flavor!

Notes

Optional: Serve with steamed jasmine rice for a hearty meal that the whole family will enjoy.
