  • 1 medium Jalapeño Optional, can be omitted.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Adds zest.

For the Sliders

  • 12 slider rolls Slider Rolls Choose fresh rolls.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter For brushing on buns.
  • 1 medium Red Onion Adds crunch.
  • 0.5 cup Cilantro Can be substituted with parsley.
  • 2 cups Pepper Jack Cheese Shredded, for topping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce, jalapeño, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl until well combined.
  • Split the slider rolls in half and place the bottoms on the baking sheet.
  • Distribute the chicken mixture evenly on each bottom bun, drizzle additional BBQ sauce, and add red onion, cilantro, and cheese on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes until the cheese is melty and the chicken is warm.
  • Prepare garlic butter by mixing melted butter with garlic powder.
  • Remove foil, brush the buns with garlic butter, sprinkle black pepper, and bake uncovered for an additional 5-8 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, serve warm and enjoy with sides such as crispy fries. You can prepare the chicken mixture ahead of time for easy assembly.
