Ingredients
  

  • #### Bar Base:
  • - 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • - 1 cup brown sugar
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • - ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
  • - 1 tsp baking powder
  • - ½ tsp salt
  • - 1 cup dried cranberries
  • - ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • #### Frosting:
  • - 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • - ¼ cup butter softened
  • - 1½–2 cups powdered sugar
  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • - Zest of 1 orange optional
  • #### Topping:
  • - Extra cranberries chopped
  • - White chocolate shavings or drizzle
  • - Orange zest optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment.
  • Cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs.
  • In another bowl, mix flour, oats, baking powder, salt. Combine with wet mixture.
  • Fold in cranberries and white chocolate. Spread in pan.
  • Bake 22–25 minutes. Cool completely.
  • Make frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and zest.
  • Frost cooled bars. Top with cranberries and white chocolate.
  • Chill slightly. Slice into squares or triangles. Serve.

Notes
