  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp Chives fresh, chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

For the Peppers

  • 12 Mini Bell Peppers

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Slice the mini bell peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  • Mix the filling by combining cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  • Stuff the pepper halves with the cheese mixture.

Cooking

  • For serving cold, chill the stuffed peppers in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • For roasting, arrange the peppers on a baking sheet and roast for 8 minutes, then broil for 1-2 minutes.
  • Garnish with extra chives or crushed red pepper before serving.
