For the Potatoes

  • 2 pounds Gold Potatoes Yukon Golds preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste

For Creaminess

  • 4 tablespoons Salted Butter Softened
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk Can substitute with chicken broth

For Flavor

  • 1 cup Chicken Broth Or use vegetable broth for gluten-free option

For Cooking

  • 1 cup Water Needed for cooking

Preparation

  • Begin by peeling and chopping the gold potatoes into 2-inch uniform chunks.
  • Pour in water and sprinkle some salt into the Ninja Foodi pot. Gently place the potato chunks in the pot.
  • Close the lid and set the Ninja Foodi to cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  • Allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then quickly release any remaining pressure.
  • Carefully move the cooked potatoes to a mixing bowl.
  • While the potatoes are still hot, add in the softened butter and milk. Mash to your desired consistency.
  • Stir in the chicken broth and adjust salt as needed.

Notes

For extra flavor, mix in garlic or fresh herbs before mashing. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
