  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Use Neufchâtel cheese for a lighter version.
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used for a healthier substitute.
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Cream can be substituted but will create a heavier dip.

For the Cheesy Goodness

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Can swap with grated Pecorino for a bolder taste.
  • 1/2 cup White Cheddar Mild cheddar can be used if a subtler flavor is preferred.
  • 1/2 cup Gruyère Cheese Fontina or even mozzarella can be used as alternatives.

For the Flavor

  • 1 cup Artichoke Hearts Substituting with roasted bell peppers can add a different twist.
  • 1 cup Frozen Spinach Fresh spinach can be used but should be wilted and chopped first.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Garlic powder can be used for a milder taste.
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest Lime zest can be a good substitute in a pinch.
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Adjust quantity based on heat preference; omit for a milder dip.

Seasoning and Serving

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F, so it’s ready to create the cheesy goodness straight away.
  • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan, white cheddar, Gruyère, chopped artichoke hearts, defrosted spinach, minced garlic, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is fully blended and creamy.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the dip is bubbly and golden on top. For a delightful finish, broil for a few extra minutes for that beautiful browning.
  • Serve hot with tortilla chips, toasted baguette slices, or fresh vegetable sticks for dipping.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and added freshness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
