Ingredients
  

For the Brisket

  • 3 pounds Corned Beef Brisket Use the seasoning packet provided.

For the Cooking Liquid

  • 4 cups Unsalted Beef Stock Low-sodium stock optional.
  • 12 ounces Lager Beer Can substitute with non-alcoholic beer or dark soda.

For the Vegetable Base

  • 1 large Onion Chopped large for cooking.
  • 4 medium Carrots Cut into large chunks.
  • 2 stalks Celery Can substitute with cabbage.

How to Make Crockpot Corned Beef

  • Begin by placing the large diced onion, cut carrots, and cut celery into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • Carefully lay the drained corned beef brisket on top of the vegetables and sprinkle the seasoning packet over the meat.
  • Pour 4 cups of unsalted beef stock and 12 ounces of lager beer over the brisket.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to low, cooking for 8-9 hours.
  • Once done, remove the corned beef from the slow cooker and slice it against the grain, drizzling some of the cooking liquid over the meat.

Notes

Serve with a dollop of mustard for an extra tangy kick!
