Ingredients
  

For the Cupcakes

  • 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz Frozen Cheesecake Squares
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar

For Decoration

  • 1 cup Rainbow Sprinkles

Cupcake Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin by lining it with cupcake liners.
  • Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions.
  • Fill each cupcake liner halfway with the prepared cake batter.
  • Insert a frozen cheesecake square in the center of each.
  • Top with additional cake batter until the liners are full.
  • Bake as directed on the cake mix package, usually about 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool the cupcakes in the tin for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Ensure cheesecake squares are frozen solid to maintain their form during baking. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before adding toppings to avoid melting.
