Ingredients
  

For the Dough

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar dark brown sugar preferred
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract pure vanilla is best
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour sifted
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

For the Add-ins

  • 1 cup Easter M&M's or regular M&M's
  • 1 cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips or milk chocolate chips

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together in a medium bowl the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Cream the softened butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the large egg and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
  • Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gradually. Stir gently until blended.
  • Stir in the mini chocolate chips and Easter M&M’s until distributed evenly.
  • Drop dough balls onto prepared baking sheets, leaving 2 inches between each.
  • Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
  • Cool the cookies on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

These cookies can be enjoyed warm with a glass of milk for the ultimate treat.
