Instructions

How to Make Marry Me Chicken

  • Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and sprinkle with kosher salt.
  • In a large skillet, heat extra-virgin olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Lower the heat to medium and add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in heavy cream, chicken stock, chicken bouillon, grated parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, freshly cracked black pepper, and any remaining salt. Whisk until smooth.
  • Return the seared chicken to the skillet, nestling it into the sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh basil and extra parmesan, and serve over pasta or mashed potatoes.

Notes

Garnish with more fresh basil for added color and flavor. Store leftovers properly.
