Preparation Steps

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the dry pasta. Cook until al dente according to package instructions, usually about 8 minutes. Drain and sprinkle with olive oil to prevent sticking while it cools to room temperature.
  • In a mixing bowl, hand-whisk together the Italian dressing, mayonnaise, kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth and creamy. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use it.
