Equipment

  • Bowl or Mason Jar

Ingredients

For the Pudding

  • 1 cup Almond Milk Unsweetened preferred
  • 1/4 cup Chia Seeds Essential for thick consistency
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Can substitute with honey or agave
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Highly recommended for flavor
  • 1 pinch Salt Balances sweetness

For Toppings

  • 1 cup Fresh Fruits Berries, bananas, or seasonal fruit
  • 1/2 cup Granola Choose your favorite blend
  • 1/4 cup Nuts or Seeds Almonds, walnuts, or pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Nut Butter Almond or peanut butter

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl or mason jar, whisk together the chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until the mixture is well combined.
  • Allow the mixture to sit for about 5 minutes. This gives the chia seeds time to absorb some liquid. Stir again to break up any settling seeds.
  • Cover the mixture and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours, ideally overnight.
  • Before serving, stir the pudding. If it’s too thick, add more almond milk as needed.
  • Serve topped with fresh fruit, granola, nuts, or preferred toppings.
