Cooking Instructions

  • Prepare Spice Mix: In a small bowl, combine sage, salt, black pepper, thyme, garlic powder, marjoram, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and onion powder.
  • Mix Turkey and Spices: In a large bowl, add the ground turkey and the prepared spice mix. Gently fold until evenly mixed.
  • Form Patties or Crumbles: Shape into 8 equal patties, or leave loose for crumbles.
  • Cook Patties: Heat a skillet on medium, lightly grease it, and cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Cook Crumbles: Add loose mixture to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks for 4-5 minutes until no pink remains.
  • Rest and Serve: Allow the sausage to rest for 2 minutes before serving.
