  • 2 cups Watermelon Freshly cubed
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Adjust based on sweetness
  • 1/2 lemon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed

How to Make Watermelon Popsicles

  • Cube the Watermelon: Start by removing the flesh from a ripe watermelon and cutting it into roughly cubed pieces. Discard any seeds and the green base. Add 2 cups of the cubed watermelon to a mixer jar.
  • Add Sugar: Sprinkle in 2 tablespoons of sugar into the mixer jar with the watermelon.
  • Pour Lemon Juice: Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into the mixer jar.
  • Blend Until Smooth: Blend all the ingredients until you achieve a fine puree.
  • Fill Your Molds: Carefully pour the watermelon mixture into your preferred popsicle molds.
  • Seal and Insert Sticks: Cover the molds with foil and make small slits to insert ice cream sticks.
  • Freeze for Perfection: Place the molds in the freezer for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • Remove from Molds: Gently peel away the foil and dip the mold into warm water to loosen them.
  • De-Mold and Enjoy: Gently pull the popsicles out of the molds.

Notes

Optional: Drizzle with chocolate or sprinkle with chopped nuts for an extra treat. Store the watermelon popsicles in the freezer for up to 2 months in an airtight container.
