Ingredients

  • 2 cups Strawberries hulled and halved
  • 2.25 cups Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice

Making the Jam

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium to large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat once the mixture starts to bubble.
  • Cook until thickened, ensuring the temperature stays over 220°F.
  • Transfer jam into clean glass mason jars.
  • Sterilize jars and lids if you choose to can.
  • Seal jars tightly and place them in a large pot of boiling water.
  • Cool jars undisturbed for 24 hours.
