Ingredients
  

For the Batter

  • 3 large Ripe Bananas with lots of brown spots
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 large Large Eggs at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour or gluten-free blend
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda fresh
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract pure
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon adjust to taste

For the Mix-ins

  • 1/2 cup Walnuts toasted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup Raisins or chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • Toast walnuts in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cream the softened butter and sugar in a mixing bowl for 2-3 minutes.
  • Mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then combine with the creamed butter and sugar.
  • Incorporate the room temperature eggs one at a time.
  • Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  • Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently.
  • Add the vanilla extract, toasted walnuts, and raisins, folding gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
