For the Chicken

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and massage the marinade into the chicken.
  • While the chicken marinates, slice avocados in half, remove the pit, and brush the cut sides lightly with olive oil.
  • Place the marinated chicken on the grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • During the last few minutes, add the avocados to the grill cut side down and grill for 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove chicken and avocados from the grill and allow to rest for a few minutes.
  • Slice the chicken and serve beside the grilled avocado halves, garnish with fresh cilantro, lime, and chili flakes if desired.
