Ingredients
  

  • #### For the Bread:
  • - 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • - 1 tsp baking soda
  • - ½ tsp salt
  • - 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • - ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - ½ cup vegetable oil
  • - ¼ cup milk
  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • - ¾ cup brown sugar
  • - ½ cup granulated sugar
  • - 2 cups peeled diced apples
  • #### Optional Topping:
  • - 2 tbsp sugar
  • - ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg.
  • In another bowl, beat eggs, oil, milk, vanilla, sugars.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in diced apples.
  • Pour into pan and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar (optional).
  • Bake 50–60 mins, until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool 10 mins in pan, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

- Use Honeycrisp or Granny Smith apples for best flavor.
- Freezes well for up to 3 months.
