  • 15 cookies Oreos Crush them into fine crumbs.
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Use regular granulated sugar to enhance the sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon Chocolate Pudding Mix This helps the crumbs stick and deepens the chocolate flavor.

Preparation Steps

  • Line a baking sheet with wax paper and give it a light spray of cooking oil.
  • Using a food processor, crush the Oreos until they resemble fine crumbs. Mix them with sugar and chocolate pudding mix in a shallow bowl.
  • Rinse the strawberries under cool water and pat them dry completely.
  • Melt the chocolate wafers in a double boiler until smooth, stirring gently.
  • Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, coating about two-thirds of the berry.
  • Roll the chocolate-coated end in the Oreo crumb mixture until evenly coated.
  • Chill the strawberries in the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes, until the chocolate is set.

Notes

Optional: Drizzle with white chocolate for an elegant touch. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
