  • 6 large Eggs Use fresh eggs for the best flavor and texture.
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise Substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier twist.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard For a tangy kick; yellow mustard works well too!

How to Make Deviled Eggs

  • Place the eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let them sit for 12 minutes.
  • Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for about 5 minutes, then peel them gently under running water.
  • Cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Carefully scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl.
  • Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites, creating a dome on top.
  • Sprinkle each filled egg with paprika and top with chives.

Notes

Deviled eggs are best enjoyed chilled and can be made ahead of time for convenience.
