  • 1 box strawberry jello mix
  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 8 ounces Cool whip thawed

How to Make Strawberry Jello Poke Cake

  • Prepare the Cake: Start by mixing the white cake mix according to the package instructions. Bake in a 9x13 inch baking pan until golden brown. Once done, let the cake cool for about 30 minutes.
  • Poke Holes: Using the back of a wooden spoon, gently poke holes all over the top of the cooled cake.
  • Make the Jello: In a medium bowl, blend the strawberry jello mix with 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  • Pour the Jello: Carefully pour the jello mixture evenly over the top of the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Add the Topping: Spread the thawed cool whip over the cake and serve with fresh sliced strawberries.
