  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar (107 g.)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

For the Topping

  • 1 cup dark brown sugar (213 g.)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (60 g.)
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup pecans coarsely chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

How to Make Sweet Potato Casserole

  • Prepare the Potatoes: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Place the cubed sweet potatoes in a large pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Simmer until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Cool and Mash: Drain the potatoes, return to pot, and mash until smooth.
  • Combine Ingredients: Add eggs, melted butter, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Mix well and transfer to a baking dish.
  • Make the Topping: Mix brown sugar, flour, and melted butter until clumps form. Fold in pecans and spread over sweet potato layer. Top with marshmallows.
  • Bake: Bake until warmed through and marshmallows are golden brown, about 25 minutes.

Notes
