How to Make Lemon Bars

  • Prep the Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch pan and line with parchment paper.
  • Make the Crust: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, powdered sugar, and sea salt. Add melted butter and vanilla, mixing into a soft dough. Press into the prepared pan.
  • Par-Bake: Bake the crust for 18-20 minutes, until lightly browned. Dock with a fork to prevent bubbles.
  • Prepare Filling: Mix granulated sugar with lemon zest. Whisk in flour, then add eggs and lemon juice until smooth.
