Ingredients
  

  • - 1 lb ground beef
  • - 3 garlic cloves minced
  • - ½ yellow onion diced
  • - ½ tsp garlic powder
  • - ½ tsp onion powder
  • - ¼ tsp dried basil
  • - ½ tsp dried oregano
  • - 1 tsp kosher salt
  • - Pepper to taste
  • - 14 oz crushed tomatoes
  • - 32 oz chicken broth
  • - 1 cup water
  • - 2 tsp tomato paste
  • - 6 oz lasagna noodles broken
  • - 1 cup frozen spinach
  • - ¼ cup heavy cream
  • - Ricotta cheese
  • - 4 oz mozzarella cheese sliced
  • - Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Brown beef in a large pot. Drain grease.
  • Add garlic, onion, and spices. Cook 5 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, broth, water, tomato paste, and noodles.
  • Simmer 10–12 mins covered.
  • Stir in spinach and cream. Simmer 5 mins more.
  • Serve over mozzarella. Top with ricotta and parmesan.

Notes

- Noodles will absorb liquid—add broth when reheating
- Freeze without cream and cheese for best results
