How to Make Lavender Lemonade

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix 2 cups of water with the granulated sugar. Bring it to a gentle boil until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  • Turn off the heat, and stir in the honey and dried culinary lavender. Allow this fragrant mixture to steep for about 2 hours.
  • Once steeping is complete, strain the liquid through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing the lavender to ensure you capture all those lovely flavors.
  • In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with the lavender mixture. Add in the remaining 4 cups of water and stir well until everything is blended together.
  • If you’d like, add a couple drops of blue or purple food coloring. Serve this delightful drink over ice, and enjoy the refreshing aroma!
