Orzo

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix softened butter, chopped parsley, grated garlic, lemon zest, and olive oil until creamy and fragrant.
  • In a large pot, bring 3-4 quarts of water to a boil, adding 2 tablespoons of kosher salt.
  • Stir in the dried orzo and cook for 7-8 minutes until it’s al dente.
  • Drain the orzo quickly and toss it with the herb butter mixture until it melts and coats the pasta.
  • Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top and serve immediately.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with extra chopped herbs for a fresh finish. Make the herb butter in advance for convenience.
