  • Coat with Flour: Dust the seared meat with all-purpose flour, stirring for 1 minute.
  • Transfer to Slow Cooker: Move the browned meat mixture, along with any juices, to your slow cooker.
  • Add Vegetables and Liquids: Toss in the diced onions, bell pepper, minced garlic, diced tomatoes, drained kidney and black beans, beef broth, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and salt. Mix gently.
  • Slow Cook: Cover and set your slow cooker to Low for 6-8 hours, checking the tenderness of the beef after 6 hours.
