  • 2 tails Lobster Tails Opt for cold-water tails for a sweeter flavor.
  • 2 wedges Lemon Wedges Provides a zesty acidity.

For the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Using high-quality butter enhances the taste.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh, minced garlic adds aromatic depth.
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed to complement the butter.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnish.

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt Diamond Crystal recommended.

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Cut each lobster tail shell lengthwise down the center using kitchen shears, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the meat away from the shell and lay it on top.
  • Arrange the tails in a baking dish, adding ½ inch of water at the bottom. Cover tightly with foil.
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 20 seconds.
  • Bake the covered dish in the oven for 20-27 minutes until the lobster meat turns opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 135-140°F.
  • Serve the lobster tails immediately after removing from the oven, drizzled with garlic butter and garnished with lemon wedges.

Notes

Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for an extra pop of color.
