Ingredients
  

For the Stir-Fry

  • 1 lb Ground Beef can substitute with ground turkey, chicken, or tofu
  • 4 cloves Garlic (Minced) fresh garlic elevates the dish
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce opt for low-sodium varieties
  • 1 tsp Chili Flakes adjust according to spice preference
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil can substitute with another cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar maple syrup or honey can be alternatives

For the Vegetables

  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets can swap with seasonal veggies
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper other bell pepper varieties or carrots work too
  • 1 medium Zucchini yellow squash can be used as well
  • 1 cup Mushrooms any mushroom variety is suitable

For Serving

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil can use vegetable oil if preferred
  • 4 cups Steamed White Rice consider brown rice or cauliflower rice for healthier option

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash and chop all the vegetables: broccoli, bell pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms. Mince the garlic and measure out sauces and seasonings.
  • Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Stir in soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar; simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  • In another pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic, then add mushrooms, cooking for about 2 minutes. Add broccoli, zucchini, and bell pepper, stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Serve hot rice in bowls with beef and sautéed veggies on top. Drizzle with leftover sauce if desired.

Notes

For optimal texture, use day-old rice. Avoid overcooking veggies for vibrant colors and textures.
