How to Make Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with packed brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the large eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then stir in the pure vanilla extract.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredient blend into the butter mixture until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped maraschino cherries until evenly distributed.
  • Drop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, allowing space between each cookie.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are slightly golden and the centers appear just underbaked.

Notes
