Baking Instructions

  • Add red food coloring and cocoa powder to the mixture. Mix on low speed until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together cake flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, beating until fully incorporated to get a smooth dough.
  • Refrigerate the cookie dough for about 20 minutes to maintain shape while baking.
  • Roll the chilled dough into 3.5 oz balls and roll them in crushed Oreos.
  • Place cookie balls on a parchment-lined baking tray, spaced about 3 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-11 minutes until edges are firm and centers remain soft, then cool on a wire rack.
