Instructions

How to Make Strawberry Crunch Poke Cake

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, follow the package instructions for the white cake mix. Blend well until smooth and fully combined, then pour into a greased pan.
  • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Once the cake has cooled, use a skewer or fork to gently poke holes throughout the top.
  • Prepare the strawberry Jell-O according to the package instructions and pour it over the poked cake. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, heavy cream, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of kosher salt until fluffy and smooth.
  • After chilling, take the cake out and spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the top.
  • Crush the Golden Oreos and mix with some leftover strawberry Jell-O powder if desired. Sprinkle generously over the frosted cake.
