How to Make Tasty Ground Turkey Breakfast Sausage

  • In a small bowl, blend sage, salt, black pepper, thyme, garlic powder, marjoram, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and onion powder until evenly mixed.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the ground turkey to the blended spices. Gently combine the mixture without overworking it.
  • Shape the mixture into 8 patties, making them about ½ inch thick.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook patties 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and reach 165°F.
  • Allow the cooked sausage to rest for about 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, remember to cook over medium heat and gently mix ingredients to maintain tenderness. Can be paired with scrambled eggs for a delicious meal.
