For the Croutons

  • 1/2 French Baguette French Baguette Cut in half and thinly sliced
  • 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil Enhances flavor while crisping the bread

  • 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese Infuses flavor into the croutons

For the Dressing

For the Salad

  • Preheat your oven to 350˚F for perfectly crispy croutons.
  • Cut the baguette in half lengthwise, then slice diagonally into 1/4″ thick pieces.
  • In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil with 1 teaspoon of minced garlic. Drizzle over the baguette slices.
  • Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese over the baguette slices and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  • In another bowl, whisk together 1 teaspoon minced garlic, 2 teaspoons dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, and 1 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar.
  • Gradually whisk in 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil, then add 1/2 teaspoon sea salt and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.
  • Rinse and chop the romaine lettuce, placing it in a large bowl. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup of parmesan cheese and add the cooled croutons.
  • Drizzle with dressing and toss gently to coat evenly.

Notes

Store any leftover salad in an airtight container for up to 3 days, keep dressing separate to maintain lettuce crispness.
