Ingredients
  

Herb Butter

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill substitute parsley if dill is unavailable
  • 4 tablespoons Ghee (or Clarified Butter) regular butter can be used but may alter the flavor profile
  • 1 unit Lemon always choose fresh lemons for the best flavor—bottled lemon juice is not recommended
  • 2 cloves Garlic Clove fresh garlic is preferred, though garlic powder can be used in a pinch
  • 1 teaspoon White Pepper feel free to use black pepper instead
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley other herbs like basil or chives work too

Salmon

  • 4 fillets (4.5 oz each) Wild Salmon Fillets farm-raised salmon is a viable alternative—ensure similar thickness for even cooking
  • 1 teaspoon Salt for best results, use sea salt or kosher salt

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by mincing the garlic and finely chopping the dill and parsley.
  • Zest and juice your lemon into separate bowls to maximize those fresh flavors.

Make the Herb Butter

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine ghee, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, white pepper, dill, and parsley.
  • Heat for about 30-45 seconds until melted and warmed through.

Preheat the Oven

  • Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Salmon

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Arrange them skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Coat the Salmon

  • Gently spread the herb-butter mixture over the top and sides of each salmon fillet.

Bake the Salmon

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the salmon turns opaque and flakes easily.

Broil for Finish

  • If desired, set the oven to broil and broil for 8-10 minutes.

Notes
