How to Make Whiskey Glazed Salmon

  • In a large nonstick pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until it's frothy.
  • Place the skin-on salmon filet face down in the hot pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add ¼ cup of diced garlic to the pan and stir until softened.
  • Carefully turn the salmon over so it's skin-side down.
  • Pour in ½ cup of whiskey and ignite carefully.
  • Once the flame has subsided, turn off the heat and push the salmon and garlic to one side of the pan.
  • Add 1 cup of heavy cream to the other side of the pan and whisk vigorously.
  • Turn the heat back on to medium-high and continue to cook the salmon.
  • Remove the salmon from the pan when it reaches your desired level of doneness.
  • Place the salmon on a serving platter and increase the heat to high to reduce the sauce for 1-2 minutes.
  • Once reduced, take the sauce off the heat and let it set for about a minute before pouring it over the salmon.
  • Serve your whiskey glazed salmon right away for the best experience.
